Delano's SBC6 HE/S bass pickups are dual bass humbuckers in the classic P4 soapbar shape. They represent the leading edge in dedicated bass transducer technology: Unbelievably full and open sound throughout the entire spectrum with tight bottom, airy midrange and heavenly harmonics unrivalled by ANY other bass pickup. Finally your bass CAN sound like it should.
Delano designed the SBC6 HE/S for anything from deep solid grooves and fluid walking bass to singing melodies and chords and harmonics; all poured out by the same hands on the same instrument. Every detail has to be right there, at your command. Tight phat bottom, warm breathing midrange presence crowned by luxuriously shimmering overtones at your very fingertips, ready to capture every aspect and fine nuance of your playing. Wherever you go, whatever you want to express, the DELANO SBC6 HE/S will deliver with grace and authority.

In series, we hear a very transparent pickup. Quite clear, these capture the acoustic sound of the bass well.
Wired in parallel, we hear a nice bloom to the notes. Slappers will enjoy this pickup, as it has crisp extended highs. Tonally, quite clear, and has Delano’s well known articulation.
Note: The pickup used for this video is the Delano SBC 5 HE/S, a 5 string pickup. Four and Six string sizes/shapes will sound similar, but not exact as they will use a longer magnet. Delano is engineering them to sound as close to each other as possible.
