Inventory - Is XXXX In Stock?
If you are able to add an item to the cart, then it is In Stock. Short of a website updating error, we do not list a product as available if the item is out of stock.
This means that there will be items that we normally stock, but are listed as out of stock if we don't have the item on our shelves. Usually, we are waiting for a delivery from the manufacturer and not discontinuing the item. The manufacturers in the industry have wildly varying lead times depending on OEM orders, trade shows etc. Often an item will be expected quite quickly, other times, it could be a month. Regardless, please contact us and let us know that you want to be notified when something is back and stock, and we will let you know when it comes in to our shop. We do not need to hold your money hostage.
How can I place an order?
You can place your order directly on our website using our secure checkout system. In addition, if you prefer, you are welcome to give us a call (401-285-2277) and place your order over the phone.
What method of payment does Fat Bass Tone accept?
There are several ways you can make payment for an order: Visa, Mastercard, AMEX, Discover, Paypal, Apple Pay, Venmo and Google Pay.
How soon will my order ship out?
We understand that you want to get your order quickly. So our standard process is to ship all orders out the day after the order is placed. Orders which include a pre-wired Aguilar preamp or a pre-wired passive harness may need an additional day before shipping out. We ship out orders every weekday (Monday-Friday), except when there is a US Federal holiday, of course. Since Fat Bass Tone is closed over the weekend, we are not able to ship out orders on Saturday.
What service does Fat Bass Tone use for shipping?
We ship orders with both USPS and UPS domestically and use DHL & UPS Internationally. Orders which are shipped using the “Free Shipping” promotion for orders over $50 will be shipped with USPS Parcel Select Ground or USPS First Class, depending on size and weight of the package.
Does Fat Bass Tone ship outside the US?
You bet - We are happy to ship orders anywhere in the world!
As of September, 2023 we are excited to offer less expensive, faster and more reliable shipping services to our international customers.
International orders are shipped using DHL, using the following services:
- DHL Express Worldwide (1-3 days typical)
- DHL eCommerce Parcel International (3-10 days typical)
Customs/Duties/Fees are now paid at check out. With DHL we are now able to collect customs related fees up front so that your package is not held waiting for payment of duties. This will result in packages arriving quicker and you, as a customer, do not have any surprise fees. In fact, if the fees are higher than the estimated fee by DHL, you are not responsible for the difference.
If DHL is not a good option for you, and you have a preference for UPS, drop us a line with the items that you'd like to purchase, and we will happily make your order happen with UPS. Please contact us before ordering, as we need to draft the order for you.
**UNFORTUNATELY, US DEALERS (which we are) ARE NOT AUTHORIZED TO SHIP Aguilar, Darkglass, EBS, Tech21, DiMarzio, Gator or Ernie Ball products outside of the US.
Can I get a tracking number for my order?
Of course! When your order ships out, we will send you an email with your tracking number so you can keep up to date with the status of your package.
Can Fat Bass Tone send my international order as a “gift” or undervalue it on the customs form?
Sorry, but no. We believe in honesty and integrity in all facets of our business…that even includes the customs forms.
