We can all agree that the best situation is for you to get the right part for your bass on your first order. That is why we are here to help you figure out which part will fit your bass and provide you with the updated sound you’re looking for. It’s a win-win for everyone!
However, we do understand that sometimes things happen and you may need to return an item that was purchased through Fat Bass Tone. So, here’s our policy for those (hopefully rare) situations:
Criteria for returns: To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging. String sets cannot be returned if the packaging has been opened. If an item is believed to be defective, give us a call or email to be certain there is not something that we can troubleshoot. Gift cards are non-refundable.
To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase.
Please do not send your purchase back to the manufacturer.
Processing time for returns: Once received at our facility in Maine, returns are typically processed within 3 business days and applicable refunds/credits will be applied at that time.
Late or missing refunds:
If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.
Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.
Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.
If you’ve done all of this and you still have not received your refund yet, please contact us at email@example.com.
Sale items (if applicable)
Only regular priced items may be refunded, unfortunately sale items cannot be refunded.
Exchanges (if applicable)
We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange it for the same item, send us an email at firstname.lastname@example.org and send your item to: Fat Bass Tone, LLC, 88 Crossing Road, Wells ME 04090, United States.
Time period for returns: Returns must be made within 15 days of receipt of the order...give us a call or email if you are having issues with an installation.
PLEASE contact us before returning an item to us. Of course, it is helpful for us to know when something is coming back to us, but more importantly, we can help trouble shoot an item if you are having installation issues, or we can help you find the correct replacement part for your bass. Other return information: We are not able to refund shipping charges from the original order. In addition, if your order had been part of the “Free Shipping” promotion, we will subtract our cost of shipping from the amount you will be refunded.
If you want to return an item which you have already installed and/or used, then we need to consider your situation individually to determine a fair “restocking fee.” It’s pretty easy to tell if a part has been installed or used, so just let us know the situation and why you want to return it. We promise to treat you and your request with patience and respect.
