AG 5M 5 string pickup

Added it to a fender USA precision 5 string with the original volume tone knobs replaced with two stacked volume/tone knobs so each pickup has separate volume and tone control. Sounds great. Used 250/500k con
centric pots by CTS. Bought the stacked knob set here as well.

Will do wonders to your bass tone!

I put this bad boy in an MTD Kingston 5 bass and the difference was NIGHT AND DAY. The stock pickup was dull, muddy, and dare I say lifeless? I installed this in and I can hear every harmonic of each note I was playing. It was so clean and crystal clear. IF you need a good sound, go with Aguilar!

This is a great pickup and gives you so much clarity. Do not buy this pickup for a Sterling Sub bass unless you are going to do some ridge work. The string spacing doesn’t line up well with the poles.

DESCRIPTION

The AG 5M pickup is wired in parallel to give players crisp treble, articulate midrange and thunderous lows. Paired with an onboard preamp, such as Aguilar’s OBP-1, 2 or 3, and bassists will have the ultimate in tonal flexibility.

The AG 5M is for basses using 18mm to 19mm string spacing. Music Man® style basses from Lakland® and many others use this spacing.

The AG 5M will not retrofit into Ernie Ball Music Man® five string basses.
