The Victor Wooten PJ Set is a combination of the PAX P Bass® pickup and the LJVX Jazz® bridge pickup. 

**FYI - This pickup combination is not currently packaged as a set by EMG, so if you want to buy a SET, you will need to add BOTH the P Bass® (PAX) and the Jazz® Bridge (LJVX) pickups to your cart.

• The PAX pickup is similar to the EMG PA bass pickup, but with the addition of the X Series preamp. The X preamp offers greater dynamic control and touch sensitivity, bridging the gap between passive and active tone and feel. Because the PAX utilizes Alnico V magnets coupled with short, squat coils, the tone is open and rich, with a vintage character. For those who seek an active P Bass® pickup with a more vintage tone and feel, the PAX is an excellent choice. Complete with EMG's solderless wiring control kit, this pickup is a breeze to install on your own.
  
  The LJVX is the bridge pickup in EMG's JVX Set. The EMG JVX Set is a mixture of old and new, utilizing traditional exposed pole pieces and EMG's X Series preamp. This preamp bridges the gap between passive and active tone and feel. Developed to deliver the classic tone and look of a vintage Jazz Bass® without the noise often associated with vintage passive pickups. This pickup maintains the "faded" attack of the offset pole pieces that many players prefer in combination with their most dynamic preamp. The JVX Set will appeal to the player looking for a "retro" vibe with the active tone and frequency range of an EMG.
