DESCRIPTION & TECH

The big poles grab all the strings movements with zero loss. Specially engineered magnets and custom wound coils make up for a bass transducer ready to redefine the word PRECISION.

Just imagine meaty P-Bass® tone with in-your-face Stingray® style grind and attack, and then you got at least the frame of the picture. Due to its tight broad frequency range, this is a GREAT pickup for nu-school funk and rock players, it loves drop tuned basses and massive tone tweaking.

Available with Black or White pickup covers.

Includes Pickup screw tubing and black screws.

Shielded 1-conductor cable

WHAT IS THE TONE OF THE DELANO PMVC4 FE/M2 BASS PICKUP?

A superb P Bass® pickup that is clear without sounding overly bright. The top ends presence will sound very pleasing to most bassists. There is a solid heft to this pickup, with a forward facing mid-range that doesn’t get too honky. The low end is strong & clear, but not overly warm or too fat. The PMVC4 FE/M2 has been in the top 2 of our best selling P Bass® pickups for several years.

Put on a good set of headphones and check out the audio demo below to hear it for yourself.

As always, keep in mind that these are generalizations. Your experience could be different depending on many factors.

Delano big pole P pickups

I love this pickup! The large magnets provide a very healthy signal that’s very accurate to tone of the instrument. I installed them in a new American Professional II fender P and love the way the low end blooms and the mid-mids have some great natural saturation that honestly feels like one of my favorite drive pedals the Way Huge Pork Loin. That’s with my tone knob all the way up. If I dial the knob back it smooths out that grit but the mids still feel punchy and all the while the low lows ring true. If you’re playing any kind of rock or country music you will love these pups.

Holy Hell!!

Ok, I bought this pickup last summer, had it installed a month after the fact, went through some technical drama with my long time repair/tech guy and all of this resulted in my lb100 being benched for a few months. Enter a few weeks ago, I finally found the spare time to fix the mess my tech caused and the actual results are nothing short of devine!! There will be another review of the Stellartone Bass 10 that was installed with. Wow!! Huge yet cultured output!! It has the pbass rasp I love and then some! I initially tried it with a 500k pot and heard a slight upper sheen over the 250k so either way, it will work. This is the 3rd pickup change I've done with my LB100, the second was a DiMarzio Model P and the first was the OEM. The Delano EASILY blends the Nasty Rasp of the Model P with the vintage growl of the OEM Alnico 5 pickup and adds a bunch more volume.
This one's a keeper!!!

DELANO PMVC4 FE/M2

threw this into an old Peavey Unity bass to match up with the Delano JMVC FE. HUGE tone, sounds tight and clear with the tone rolled off, clear articulation, especially with ghost notes. that's a win! very impressed. quick delivery. well done, all.
