DESCRIPTION

The Fralin P-J Set is the ultimate replacement for any bass with a P-Bass pickup in the Neck and a Jazz Bass Pickup in the Bridge! It utilizes Fralin's Stock P-Bass Pickups along with their noiseless and rich Split Jazz Bridge to give you hum-free operation in all positions.

This set is noiseless in all positions, with a fat and rich tone. Fralin's Split Jazz Bridge has a Left-Right coil design, which sounds better than stacked coils. The Fralin P-J Set gives you more snarl on your bridge and deep lows on your neck.

All of Lindy Fralin's bass pickups feature hand-built bobbins and hand-wound clarity. Fralin's manufacturing process allows them to achieve unparalleled quality control. This P-J Set consists of local fiberboard and USA-Made Magnets. They wind each pickup by hand, one at a time. Each pickup is wound using their proprietary “Sectioning” technique. This gives the pickup a sweet, clear tone. Finally, they wax-pot the pickup to preserve the pickup and prevent microphonics.
