One of Seymour Duncan’s most popular bass models, the Quarter Pound for Jazz Bass® was designed to take your bass tone to new heights. This neck and bridge pickup set has it all: hot output, great attack and massive attitude. The 1/4” diameter pole pieces and hot coil windings deliver a full, even response with great sustain and complexity that are at home in any genre of music. The neck pickup is RW/RP (reverse wind reverse polarity) for hum cancellation when both pickups are used together. These pickups are a drop-in replacement for any American Standard Jazz Bass®.
Hand built in Santa Barbara, CA the Quarter Pound for Jazz Bass® uses Alnico 5 rod magnets and Forbon flatwork, and is wax potted for squeal-free operation. Comes with black cover.

OUTPUT
The Duncan Quarter Pounder pickups are aggressive. The mids have plenty of heft that can help a bass feel more ‘forward’ in the mid of a band. While the low and top end are present, the mid range tend to power the overall vibe tonally.
