The Delano SBC4 HE/S family of bass pickups brings Delano's soapbar pickup designs to the classic 4-string bass soapbar format.
The SBC4 HE/S and SBC4 HE/S-E are dual-coil electric bass humbuckers. The SBC4 HE/S-4 expands the family with a four-coil design for additional switching possibilities.
Unbelievably full and open sound throughout the entire spectrum with tight bottom, airy midrange and heavenly harmonics unrivaled by any other bass pickup. Finally your bass can sound like it should.

In series, we hear a very transparent pickup. Quite clear, these capture the acoustic sound of the bass well.
Wired in parallel, we hear a nice bloom to the notes. Slappers will enjoy this pickup, as it has crisp extended highs. Tonally, quite clear, and has Delano’s well known articulation.
Note: The pickups used for the audio demos below are Delano SBC 5 HE/S 5-string pickups. Four and six string sizes/shapes will sound similar, but not exact as they use different magnet lengths. Delano engineers the different sizes to sound as close to each other as possible.
