I had to return the pickup it would not fit my EBMM Stingray Special and we were unable to find a 4” five string musicman pickup. All musicman pickups we tried are too big.

Used these pickups for a new build, will use them again! Would have liked to recieve mounting screws as the right ones are hard to find. Need #4s 1.25 or 1.5 inches depending on design of guitar.Still have not obtained any so using temporary screws.

DESCRIPTION

Classic J Bass® pickups give you enhanced treble response and narrower apertures for incisive attack and focused sound without harshness. This added treble definition vastly increases the tonal range available in active or passive instruments. When you dig in, they are responsive and growly. When you pull back, they are clear and sweet. And they’ll take any slapping and popping you want to give them. The Classic Bass series is popular with progressive, jazz, gospel, and metal musicians where articulation is critical. They are sweat-proof and won’t crackle and thud when you touch them or hit them with the strings.

If you play a wide variety of music, you know you need some pro-level pickups, but you don’t want to do a big upgrade project, Classic Bass pickups are a great choice. They are passive and will work with your current electronics in most basses. These dual inline-coil pickups are hum-cancelling even soloing the neck or bridge pickup, so they are well suited for studio or stage.

Available in balanced bridge and neck versions.

Artists: E. Pruitt “E”, Goran Pavlovic, Pennal “PJ” Johnson, Ceth Carter, Willie “Koot” O. Lemons III

WHAT IS THE TONE OF THE BARTOLINI CLASSIC BASS SERIES HUMCANCELLING BASS PICKUP?

These Classic Bass series pickups from Bartolini offer more top end, without losing warmth in the lows and low mids. Neck pickup shines almost like a P pickup. Great all around pickup that is more than solid in all genres.

Put on a good set of headphones and check out the audio demo below to hear it for yourself.

As always, keep in mind that these are generalizations. Your experience could be different depending on many factors.
