DESCRIPTION

The Bartolini P24CBC brings the versatile Classic Bass voice to the long P2 soapbar shape for 4-string basses with wider string spacing. It delivers a rich, deep voice with plenty of high-end clarity and warmth. Dig in and the pickup responds with a growly character; pull back and it stays clear and sweet.

The P24CBC is a passive dual-coil humbucking pickup with a focused magnetic aperture. Its combination of strong low-end response and articulation makes it a versatile choice for a wide range of playing styles, including progressive, jazz, gospel, metal, slap and pop. Because it is passive, it can work with the existing electronics in most basses.

Choose the P24CBC-B for the neck position or the P24CBC-T for the bridge position. Bartolini offers separate neck and bridge versions so they balance well together in your bass.

WHAT IS THE TONE OF THE BARTOLINI CLASSIC BASS SOAPBAR PICKUPS?

Bartolini Classic Bass soapbars have a rich, deep voice with plenty of high-end clarity and warmth. When you dig in, they are responsive and growly. When you pull back, they become clear and sweet. They also retain the articulation needed for slap and pop playing.

The Classic Bass series is especially popular with progressive, jazz, gospel, and metal players where articulation is important. The strong high-end clarity does not sacrifice the low end, giving you a versatile combination of depth, warmth and definition.

Classic Bass pickups are passive and work with the existing electronics in most basses. They are also sweat-proof and designed to avoid the crackle and thud that can occur when a pickup is touched or struck by the strings.

As always, keep in mind that these are generalizations. Your experience can vary depending on your bass, strings, electronics, amplification, setup, and playing style.
