DESCRIPTION

SINGULARITY pickups are true, huge, fat single coils. When you want a pro-level pickup, but you want it as simple as possible, this is your choice. They are massive for a deep, thick voice.

Bartolini makes products for professional musicians, so of course that these pickups are fully shielded and sealed. The magnetic circuit projects an even, but asymmetric field to the strings which gives you a natural voice. They have a blade core design, so you don’t have to worry about string alignment.

Bartolini has special versions for neck (Bass, -B) and bridge (Treble, -T) positions. They are opposite polarity, so they hum-cancel with each other when both pickups are at the same volume. The bridge pickup has a higher output than the neck pickup. They are wired with shielded coax cable for maximum noise immunity even from a single coil.

WHAT IS THE TONE OF THE BARTOLINI SINGULARITY BASS PICKUPS?

Our pickup tester Andy thought that these were likely his favorite Bartolini pickup. With a touch less compression than many Bartolini designs, these have nice definition up top without being bright. Very full, pleasing mids, that do not sound like a single coil. Surprisingly quiet for a single coil design with a great dynamic range.

Put on a good set of headphones and check out the audio demo below to hear it for yourself.

As always, keep in mind that these are generalizations. Your experience could be different depending on many factors.
