The Delano JMVC 4 AL/M2 is a hum-cancelling Jazz Bass®-style pickup built around a split-coil design and AlNiCo V pole pieces. It's a strong choice for players who want the familiar format and response of a J-style pickup while eliminating the single-coil hum of a traditional Jazz Bass® pickup.
The AL/M2 version distinguishes itself within Delano's JMVC family through its AlNiCo V pole pieces. Choose a complete neck and bridge set, an individual bridge pickup, or an individual neck pickup, with all three configurations available in Black or White.

Bridge Only - Black: One 95 mm / 3.74" JMVC 4 AL/M2 bridge pickup with a black cover.

The biggest difference between the JMVC 4 AL/M2 and FE/M2 is the magnet design. The AL/M2 uses AlNiCo V pole pieces, while the FE/M2 uses ferrite magnets with steel pole pieces.
JMVC 4 AL/M2: Choose the AlNiCo V version if you're looking for a warmer, more traditional magnet character. Delano describes its AlNiCo V designs as emphasizing warm bass and low mids, pronounced mids, and a bright, percussive top end.
JMVC 4 FE/M2: Choose the ferrite version if you're looking for a more aggressive and immediate response. Delano describes the JMVC 4 FE/M2 as having ultra-fast attack, powerful lows, detailed mids and brilliant highs, with a tight, focused response that works especially well with drop tunings and heavier EQ.
