Classic, well-defined P-bass tone with a bit more top end.
Full Bass · Pronounced Mids · Crisp Highs
Available with 0.72" pole spacings for wide neck P-basses. Comes with adjusted pole locations for factory, 1-3/4" wide nut P-basses, to work with the existing pickup routes in a factory pickguards, resulting in a more precise pole to string alignment.
In addition, the TT-4B is available with centered 0.70" pole spacings for narrower neck P-basses with a factory 1-5/-8" wide nut or custom applications.
The covers are taller than a factory pickup and most aftermarket P-style pickups, which may require slimmer foam under the pickup to fit a standard depth P-bass cavity.
Size (Both Shells):
2.24” [56.87 mm] Long
1.”09 [27.64 mm] Wide

Our talent, Andy, loved this pickup. The Triple Threat P is very even, with a pillowy low end. Overall the pickup has a mellow tone (akin to very vintage Ps), while having more bounce. This P has a lot of definition, and good for players looking for a thicker pickup, not so much grind or top end sparkle.
Put on a good set of headphones and check out the audio demo below to hear it for yourself.
As always, keep in mind that these are generalizations. Your experience could be different depending on many factors.
These pickups are clear and articulate, beautiful tone, and look fabulous. They do sound somewhere between a vintage sound and a modern sound, and could be used for either.
The instructions say they're deeper (taller) than standard, but I had no issue dialing in a good height under the strings. No issues with mounting in a Squier body with a random pickguard. Currently using Roto 77 strings, and the sound is nearly as bright as a roundwound.
Definitely recommended.
