The 800TS preamp borrows the EQ section of the famous GK800RB amplifier and squeezes it into an onboard preamp, loaded into a Jazzplate, for Jazz bass lovers.
Get that signature sound, straight out of your bass.
This tone stack has some serious high-frequency power and a very deep bottom end, just like the amplifier it’s based on, allowing you to explore different tones directly from your instrument.
The Hi-mid and Treble controls are highly interactive; the same goes for the Lo-Mid and Bass controls and the overall sound is always very “cut through” and clear sounding.
Make it growl, make it deep, make it clear. It’s all there!!

This preamp is so nice that I’ll be ordering a second one soon for another bass I have. I am glad I made the purchase after having a bass sit so long without a preamp. I have juicy low end now and can tone this bass anyhow I want. I look forward to play the bass now.
The controls do exactly what they need to and more than anything, the preamp doesn’t color. Just pushed the frequencies it’s suppose to. Plenty of great tonal options. Definitely my favorite preamp.
