The Sadowsky SAC PU MM5 B is a passive 5-string M-Style humbucker designed specifically for the bridge position. Its quad-coil construction, Alnico V magnets and exposed pole pieces bring Sadowsky's pickup design to the familiar Music Man-style format, with the extended coverage needed for a 5-string bass.
The shielded 4-conductor cable provides wiring flexibility beyond a conventional 2-conductor pickup. Combined with its black soft-touch cover, exposed Alnico V pole pieces and Sadowsky logo, the MM5 B offers the genuine Sadowsky look and construction for a replacement pickup or custom M-Style bass project.

The SAC PU MM5 B uses four coils inside its M-Style housing and connects through a shielded 4-conductor cable. This gives the pickup a more flexible electrical architecture than a basic 2-conductor humbucker.
Quad-coil construction can support different coil combinations when paired with suitable switching and electronics. The pickup's factory wiring provides a standard humbucking connection, while alternative configurations should be planned using the appropriate Sadowsky wiring documentation. The exact switching options depend on the electronics and wiring used in your bass.
