The Trickfish Dual Coil is a full-range transducer built for instruments that deserve to be heard completely — and a pickup versatile enough to be three different voices in one housing.

The dual-coil hum-cancelling design captures a wide, even frequency response — tight and defined on the low end, articulate and expressive through the midrange, open and detailed in the highs without any edge or harshness. Balanced across every string. Responsive to every nuance of your playing.

Wire it in series and you get the full dual-coil voice: maximum output, rich low end, and a punchy fullness that fills the frequency spectrum with authority. Wire it in parallel and the character opens up — a balanced, noise-free response with added body and weight that speaks with real presence. Split the coils and run a single coil alone, and the pickup reveals a more open, organic quality — the natural air and harmonic texture that single coil construction brings, now available inside a soapbar format.
