The Bartolini on-board preamp that started it all. It has Bass, Mid, and Treble controls with very low noise and wide adjustment range. Bass and Treble bands can be boosted or cut. The TCT preamp has a voice of its own, providing vintage color to your sound. It has a mid frequency notch at 300Hz for legendary slap tone and can be adjusted with the in-cavity trimmer. TCT is the original Bartolini preamp with inter-dependent controls, so it is a tone shaping preamp rather than a strict EQ and requires expertise.
**Due to the TCT preamp being out of Bartolini's normal production, we are offering them professionally wired in the Fat Bass Tone shop. These preamps are wired to Bartolini's specifications using Bartolini's quality components. Since they are wired in our shop, they do not come in Bartolini's retail packaging.
